Placement Guidelines

The purpose of placement work is to provide the student with a planned sequence of learning opportunities, which develop skills and knowledge. To ensure that placements provide appropriate professional experience for students and that students are adequately supported while on placement, these guidelines describe what needs to be done by each of the people involved in a placement: students, Workplace Supervisors, Personal Tutors and Work-based Learning Advisors.

Full-time and Professional Pathway students can find the guidelines for the British Computer Society/Professional Development Scheme all contained within the CitySpace environment.

To access CitySpace you must be a registered student. Your CitySpace login details are the same as your Computing Services login details.
