MSc in Software Engineering
Course content for 2009 entry

The programme comprises eight taught modules. These modules have been chosen to provide a solid coverage of all aspects of software development as well as important applications object-oriented technology (such as distributed systems). In addition to exploring the underpinning concepts, these modules make use of key industrial technologies, including object-oriented programming languages such as Java, and C++, modelling languages such as UML, and XML. There is also a substantial practical project in which students put these concepts and skills into practice.

There are no optional modules, but applicants may also wish to consider the closely related MSc in e-Business Systems.
