Daksha
Chakravarti is currently in her final year of full time study on
the MSc Information Systems and Technology.
“City has a sound name in the industry for graduates of the MSc in Information Sytems and Technology. They have gone on to places like Atos KPMG, Reuters and Accenture. The School of Informatics provides a great support network with special computing rooms and a dedicated helpdesk. The modules are fully supported online so I can submit my assessments from anywhere in the world!” |
Ankush Johar
Ankush Johar completed the MSc in Business Systems
Analysis and Design in one year full time in 2003, and shortly afterwards
gained the position of Director of Business Development at Wireless World
Forum.“The teaching and supervision were excellent and the MSc BSAD course was crucial in enabling me to move into a career in business systems and development. As a foreign student, I also really enjoyed the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the course and the friendliness of the University.” |
Morkos FakhryDr Morkos Fakhry undertook the MSc in Health Informatics degree and is now employed as a Health Systems Analyst/Programmer at CSW Health Ltd.“Looking at the opportunities the MSc in Health Informatics has opened to me, I believe that undertaking this masters was by far the most correct decision I've made in my life.” Kevin HolohanKevin Holohan undertook the MSc in Geographic Information, part time as a distance learning student, whilst employed as a Database Scientist at the National Centre for Environmental Data and Surveillance, Environment Agency.“The MSc in Geographic Information has opened many doors for me at work. There is very little data in the Environment Agency that is not spatially referenced and the use of GI and GIS is an ever-expanding necessity. The MGI has fast tracked me, giving me opportunities to work on GIS projects associated with and beyond my database work.” |
Emily Allbon After
completing her full time MSc in Information Science degree, Emily Allbon
had enjoyed her year of study at City University so much she's now working
here as a Law Librarian!“The highly practical nature of the course really makes you feel as if you are working toward a real job with a promising future.
